PARTYNEXTDOOR est loin d’être un nouveau venu sur la scène musicale. Son potentiel a été très remarqué par son compatriote Drake qui fera de lui le premier artiste signé sur son label, OVO Sound. Depuis plus de dix ans, PARTYNEXTDOOR met en avant son talent indéniable – en tant qu’auteur-compositeur prolifique pour des artistes tels que Rihanna, Kanye West, Drake et bien d’autres – tout en créant son impressionnante discographie en tant qu’interprète. Sa musique, sur laquelle il ajoute des paroles pointues, s’est toujours située à l’intersection du R&B et du hip-hop. Bien que tous ses projets montrent une progression et une évolution graduelles, ‘PARTYNEXTDOOR 4’ s’avère être son œuvre la plus intime à ce jour. En plus d’écrire et d’interpréter tous ses titres, PARTYNEXTDOOR a également produit la majorité de l’album. Les 14 titres de ‘PARTYNEXTDOOR 4’ mettent en valeur sa voix enivrante mélangée à une production trap hypnotique.
