Musicien surdoué, Noah Kahan est unanimement reconnu comme l’un des auteurs compositeurs les plus doués de la nouvelle génération. Originaire de Stafford dans le Vermont, Kahan écrit ses premières chansons dès l’âge de 8 ans et se crée vite une jolie notoriété en les postant sur Soundcloud. Inspiré par les univers de Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, Counting Crows, Hozier ou Mumford and Sons, il suscite l’intérêt des firmes de disques et sort en 2017 son premier titre, ‘Young Blood’, qui comptabilise rapidement quelques millions de streams. La même année, il enregistre ‘Hurt Somebody’ un duo avec Julia Michaels qui se voit rapidement gratifier d’un disque d’or. La machine est lancée, suivent deux premiers albums ‘Busyhead’ en 2019 et ‘I Was / I Am’ en 2021, et de nombreuses apparitions sur les tournées d’artistes confirmés tels que George Ezra, Leon Bridges et James Bay. Après un premier passage affichant complet à l’AB Club en 2018, il titille à nouveau l’intérêt du public belge en special guest du concert de Dean Lewis en 2019 dans la grande salle de la même AB. En 2022, il charme à nouveau la critique et le public avec son troisième opus ‘Stick Season’ où son écriture épurée et chaleureuse emmène l’auditeur dans un voyage mélancolique, émouvant et authentique.
