Les rois du heavy hardcore de Bay Area, Californie, ont fait irruption sur la scène en 2007 avec leur premier album : « The Will To Survive ». S’inspirant de groupes tels que BLOOD FOR BLOOD, HATEBREED et MADBALL, LIONHEART s’est lancé dans un assaut de hardcore métallique foudroyant. Ils ont rapidement enchaîné avec « Built On Struggle » en 2010, « Undisputed » en 2012 et des années de tournée non-stop.Après une courte pause après la sortie de « Undisputed », le groupe est revenu plus fort que jamais avec « Welcome To The Westcoast » en 2014. L’album a débuté à la première place des classements métal d’iTunes et de GooglePlay. LIONHEART est revenu sur le devant de la scène en janvier 2016 avec « Love Don’t Live here ». Le titre de l’album, un clin d’œil à une chanson classique R&B/Motown du même nom, montre le refus du groupe de se conformer au « moule hardcore » typique, ainsi que le contenu lyrique amer et impitoyable pour lequel le groupe est connu. En novembre 2017, Lionheart a sorti « Welcome To The Westcoast II ». Suite de « Welcome To The Westcoast » (2014), l’album a donné naissance à une nouvelle ère dans le hardcore californien, et les a vus à nouveau débuter à la première place des classements métal iTunes et Google Play. Aujourd’hui, après deux ans de tournées incessantes autour du globe, LIONHEART revient avec son album le plus percutant à ce jour : « Valley Of Death ». Soutenu par une combinaison de hardcore métallique foudroyant et de groove lourd de la côte ouest, le leader Rob Watson offre une fenêtre sur une vie de tourments, de violence et de volonté implacable de vaincre.

A sequel to »Welcome To The Westcoast«(2014), the album brought forth a new era in California Hardcore, and saw them again debut at #1across the iTunes Metal chartsand Google Play metal charts. Now, after two years of relentless touring around the globe, LIONHEARTreturns with their most punishing album to date: »Valley Of Death«. De heavy hardcorekoningen uit Bay Area, Californië kwamen in 2007 op de proppen met hun debuutalbum The Will To Survive. Geïnspireerd door BLOOD FOR BLOOD, HATEBREED en MADBALL lanceerde LIONHEART een zinderende aanval van metal hardcore. Dit werd snel opgevolgd door ‘Built On Struggle’ in 2010, ‘Undisputed’ in 2012 en jaren van non-stop toeren. Na een korte pauze na de release van ‘Undisputed’ keerde de band sterker dan ooit terug met ‘Welcome To The Westcoast’ in 2014. Het album debuteerde op nummer één in de iTunes en GooglePlay metal charts. LIONHEART keerde in januari 2016 terug in de schijnwerpers met ‘Love Don’t Live Here’. De albumtitel, een knipoog naar een klassiek R&B/Motown nummer met dezelfde naam, laat de weigering van de band zien om zich te conformeren aan de typische ‘hardcore mal’, evenals de bittere en meedogenloze lyrische inhoud waar de band bekend om staat. In november 2017 bracht Lionheart ‘Welcome To The Westcoast II’ uit. Nu, na twee jaar meedogenloos toeren over de hele wereld, keert LIONHEART terug met hun hardste album tot nu toe: ‘Valley Of Death’. Ondersteund door een combinatie van zinderende metallic hardcore en zware West Coast-groove biedt frontman Rob Watson een kijkje in een leven vol kwellingen, geweld en een meedogenloze wil om te winnen.
