De American Idol à son succès avec le groupe populaire Why Don’t We, le chanteur, compositeur, producteur et multi-instrumentiste Daniel Seavey a entamé un voyage vers la liberté créative. À travers sa musique, il apporte une perspective nouvelle, mêlant des influences indie et électroniques à sa vision artistique unique. Le 12 mai 2025, Daniel Seavey présentera son très attendu album à La Madeleine à Bruxelles. Ce concert marquera également sa première performance en tant qu’artiste principal en Belgique ! En 2016, Seavey a cofondé le groupe populaire Why Don’t We, entamant ainsi un incroyable parcours de six ans, marqué par plus de 6 milliards de streams à l’échelle mondiale, deux singles certifiés Platine par la RIAA, cinq singles certifiés Or par la RIAA, deux albums dans le Top 10 du Billboard 200, ainsi que des tournées à guichets fermés, avec des passages dans des lieux mythiques comme le Radio City Music Hall et bien d’autres.
Cependant, en 2022, Seavey traverse l’une des périodes les plus difficiles et turbulentes de sa vie : il doit faire face à des problèmes de santé familiaux, à des revers professionnels et à la perte d’un ami proche. Le matériel qu’il a écrit et enregistré pendant cette période est devenu, en 2023, l’EP Dancing In The Dark, marquant ainsi ses débuts en tant qu’artiste solo, malgré les obstacles juridiques mettant en péril ses droits créatifs. Le projet a été qualifié par Billboard de « percutant et expérimental », tandis que Rolling Stone a salué Seavey pour ses « compétences de production impeccables, sa voix exceptionnelle et sa vision artistique personnelle. »
Simultanément, il a enchaîné une série de concerts presque non-stop, avec son premier concert à guichets fermés en tant qu’artiste principal, son premier festival à Lollapalooza, et en tant que première partie de tournées mondiales pour des artistes comme Benson Boone et Dean Lewis.
Après un long processus juridique, Seavey se révèle enfin en 2025 en tant qu’artiste libre et à son apogée. Il ne laisse rien au hasard : il écrit, joue de plusieurs instruments et prend en charge les arrangements, la production et le mixage. Il dévoile ainsi un son unique et irrésistible, tout à fait à lui, avec son album tant attendu, co-produit par le producteur à succès Michael Pollack, et comprenant des singles phares comme The Older You Get, Other People et Gateway Drug.

From American Idol to his success with the popular boy band Why Don’t We, American singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Seavey has embarked on a journey to creative freedom. Now, he offers a fresh perspective through his music, blending influences from indie and electronic genres with his unique artistry. On May 12th, 2025, Daniel Seavey will present his forthcoming debut album at La Madeleine in Brussels. This performance will also be his very first headline show in our country!

In 2016, Seavey co-founded Why Don’t We and embarked upon an unbelievable six-year journey highlighted by over 6 billion global career streams, two RIAA Platinum-certified singles, five RIAA Gold-certified singles, two Top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart, and sold-out tours with multiple stops at legendary venues such as Radio City Music Hall and more.
However, by 2022, Seavey was amidst one of the most trying and turbulent periods of his life: weathering family health struggles, professional tumult, and the death of a close friend. The material he wrote and recorded during this time ultimately became 2023’s Dancing In The Dark EP, introducing himself as a solo artist despite ongoing legal restraints keeping his creative ownership in jeopardy. The project was deemed “punchy and experimental” by Billboard, while Rolling Stone further praised Seavey for his “impeccable production skills, stellar vocals, and personal artistry.”
Simultaneously, he embarked on a nearly non-stop run of live shows including a sold-out debut headline run, his festival debut at Lollapalooza, and global support runs for the likes of Benson Boone and Dean Lewis.
