Sinds zijn doorbraak in 2009 heeft Charlie Winston een unieke mix van folk, rock en pop ontwikkeld waarmee hij een vaste waarde werd in de Europese muziekscene. In zowel Frankrijk als België heeft hij een trouwe fanbasis opgebouwd dankzij zijn warme en meeslepende live-optredens.
