Cette jeune auteure-compositrice originaire de Kommetjie en Afrique du Sud émigre vers Berlin une fois ses études terminées. Elle y développe une belle personnalité artistique et une solide confiance créatrice qui transparaissent au travers de sa voix captivante et de sa musique épurée. En 2014, elle auto-produit un premier EP, ‘Momentum’, qui sera suivi deux ans plus tard par l’album ‘Orbit’. Alice Phoebe Lou séduit public et critique avec un son mature et original, qui trouve ses racines dans le blues et le folk. En 2017 elle écrit, pour la BO du documentaire Bombshell : The Hedy Lamarr Story, le titre “She” qui sera repris dans la short liste des Oscars dans la catégorie Best Original Song. En 2019, elle dévoile un deuxième album intitulé ‘Paper Castles’ porté par les magnifiques “Something Holy” et “Skin Craws”. Deux ans plus tard, elle nous gratifie de deux nouveaux opus, ‘Glow’ et ‘Child’s Play’. 2023 sera le temps de la confirmation avec un cinquième album fort attendu, précédé par le single “Shelter” prévu pour le 10 mars prochain. Elle continue donc son voyage artistique de très belle manière, une artiste touchante et captivante à découvrir absolument.

After a successful passage at Rock Werchter and at Botanique, young Alice Phoebe Lou continues her rise with a return to Belgium in 2023! In anticipation of a new single followed by a new album, she announces new live shows with a stop in Belgium on 26 November at La Madeleine in Brussels.

The young singer-songwriter from Kommetjie in South Africa emigrated to Berlin after her studies. There, she develops her artistic and creative skills and perfects her heavenly voice and music. 2014 sees the release of her first EP ‘Momentum’, followed by the album ‘Orbit’ two years later. Alice Phoebe Lou seduces audiences and critics alike with a mature and distinctive sound rooted in blues and folk. In 2017, she wrote « She » for the soundtrack of the documentary Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story. The song was shortlisted for an Oscar in the Best Original Song category. In 2019, she will unveil a second album titled ‘Paper Castles’, featuring the beautiful « Something Holy » and « Skin Craws ». Two years later, she releases two new albums, ‘Glow’ and ‘Child’s Play’. 2023 will be the year of confirmation with a long-awaited fifth album, preceded by the single « Shelter » scheduled for release on 10 March.
